New Season British Asparagus with Romesco
Time to make the most of the asparagus season! Serves 2 as a light meal or starter.


  • 1 pack of Taste Collectiv Romesco;
  • Generous bunch of asparagus, allow 8 plus stalks per person;
  • Butter for cooking.


  1. Trim any woody ends off the asparagus;
  2. Place with a generous knob of butter, in a wide base non stick frying pan;
  3. Lightly pan fry until tender;
  4. Dollop over Romesco or use the sauce as a dip.

In Spain Romesco is traditionally served with grilled or fried calcots (like mini leeks) so the lightly charred asapargus is a perfect match with the smoky sweet Romesco.
